Thought you’d like to know a few tidbits about us!
Hey y’all! Lemme introduce myself…
I’m Jenna Stocks. Born and raised in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Mom put me in dance classes at age two, and I was hooked! I never considered doing anything else. I moved out to this magical city in July of 2014 to pursue a career as a professional dancer!
Aside from dancing, I have approximately 3 gazillion other interests/passions/hobbies! I’m very into music…I play violin, guitar, ukulele…sing a little. 😉 I love all things quirky. I love exploring an finding new thing to do, places to see. I’m finding out that LA fulfills EVERY interest I have…and more!! I can’t wait to share everything we find here, and hopefully inspire you to get out and discover and fall back in love with your city as well.
Nice to meet you. ❤
I’m Cortney! Also, does anyone else find it really hard to write about themselves? I always draw a blank after I type my name. 🙂
Anyway, I’m from a small town just outside Nashville, Tennessee. Born and raised Tennessee girl. What what! I grew up on a farm, which has resulted in a heeeee-uge love for animals (my pup Lily is definitely one of them <3). When I was eighteen, I married a wonderful man named Tyler. He is my best friend in the entire world, and my fave thing is being his wife.

Here we are, freshly married, age 18. And this is us now, still feeling freshly married, 5 years later.
We decided to move to Los Angeles after graduating college to follow our passions of styling (me) and being a rapper/frickin’ awesome hip hop artist (still me…just kidding, definitely not me). We moved here in June of 2015, and have been slowly drinking in the inspiration, confusion, heat waves, and complete sense of wonder this city brings.
Since moving here, I’ve met some of the most wonderful people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing (including Jenna, duh <3), eaten some of the best food, ordered lattes in the cutest coffee shops, realized how deep my love for fashion runs, and dipped my toes in the Pacific quite a few times. And this is my way of sharing all this passion and love I have for this city, along with the places & people in it.
P.S. I also love donuts, like a ridiculous amount of love, but you’ll find that out soon enough.
